Sri Lanka is capable to fascinate the tourists with the collection of ancient ruins, religious structures and locations. Buddhism was brought earlier to the country from India in 246 BC. Hinduism was brought with the immigration of Tamils in 10th century and Islam was spread with the settlement of Arab traders in 15th century. With the Portuguese era the Christianity was spread among the people.
