St. Mary’s church Colombo Bambalapitiya

The parish church of St. Mary’s is located in Bambalapitiya, at 66, Lauries road, Colombo 04.

Parishioners, non-parishioners, visitors and tourist can visit which is very peaceful and wonderful place. There are two enterances, Can enter the church by taking duplication road, also enter through Joseph lane. There is a parking space available for many vehicles. The ground are maintained by their staffs, also there is a beautiful garden in the church premises. Buses are available within Colombo and outside the Colombo area.

The alter place is made of marble and with statues symbolizing the last supper. You can see Virgin Mary painting on a large stained glass also 50 pictures of catholic saints on separate stained glass.

Weekday masses

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - 6:00 a.m

Wednesday and Friday - 6:30 p.m (on Wednesday before evening mass at6.10pm novena to the Holy Spirit)

(Before Friday evening mass at 6.00pm Adoration of the blessed sacrament)

Saturday masses - 6:30a.m and 6:15p.m

Sunday masses - *7:00 am*, 8:30 am, 10:30 am, 6:00 p.m.

*7:00 am mass 1st Sunday (Sinhala) and 3rd Sunday (Tamil)*

All other masses are in english except the noted one
