The district Trincomalee, is located in the eastern coast of Sri Lanka & in the Eastern Province. It is the district which boasts many historically & commercially important venues as well as scenic venues. Fifth largest natural harbour in the world, Fort Fredrick, Thirukoneswaram temple, Thiriya and Velgam Vihara, Ravana's cut, seven hot springs, commonwealth WAR cemetery, beaches such as marble beach, dutch bay and many more attractive tourist venues are available in the district. As the district lie in the coast line, fishing exists as the main source of income for the natives. Other than that agriculture & tourism prevail as main source of income. All the ethnicity lives in the district with understanding & peace.
