Sri Lanka is capable to fascinate the tourists with the collection of ancient ruins, religious structures and locations. Buddhism was brought earlier to the country from India in 246 BC. Hinduism was brought with the immigration of Tamils in 10th century and Islam was spread with the settlement of Arab traders in 15th century. With the Portuguese era the Christianity was spread among the people. Sacred Tooth relic in Kandy where the tooth of Lord Buddha is kept, Shrine of our lady of Madhu which is a Roman Catholic shrine in Jaffna District, Nainativu Nagapooshani Amman Temple and Jami Ul Alfar Jummah mosque of Colombo are the famous temples of four main religions of Sri Lanka.
